Personally I think Marco Matias is one of, if not the worst signing ever although I'd say abdi takes that crown now. Both have been awful signings but are they the worst players? Absolutely nowhere near.

 

If a player is injured for 95% of their contract, they are a terrible signing.

 

I’m not getting mixed up, but I see why you might think so. It’s more just that ‘worst signing’ for me would have to be someone who’d been more detrimental than a moderately costly player who was then injured for ages. For example, anyone who simply showed no willing, didn’t want to be here or actively discredited the club or fans in some way. Luckily we’ve not had many at all like that over the years.

And he's also added a hell of a lot more than  abdi.

Abdi & Van Aken both expensive flops but Rhodes cost more than both put together so he wins it hands down
