The problem were now having though is even if your flush with funds with the FFP your still restricted to what you can spend and since Carlos seems to have admitted in a roundabout way we've blown most of our budget and can't afford to spend big on a centre half. Maybe we need to look around a bit more or take a gamble or two again as it's how we gained most of our best players. Loovens, Lee, hutch, Bannan, Fletch, all came in on frees or weren't wanted at their clubs.

Man City have just spent 150 million on full back. It's just the way of the football world presently.

 

i just hope we don't get caught out by our close rivals getting players in whilst we hold out for our preferred signings.
