torryowl Posted September 10, 2015 Share Posted September 10, 2015 havnt been burnley for years ....whats the best route from mexboro .....routefinder seems to send you miles out the way( 79miles) ....looked at barnsley huddersfield and over the hills only 52 miles but guess its not a good route time wise ...... clud17 Posted September 10, 2015 Author Share Posted September 10, 2015 longest journey gives the shortest time basically, mainly as once you get over the hills it's motorway all the way round Manchester. I've done the journey past up to the lakes a couple of times recently. It's a pain going through Mottram but once you are through it's pretty quick.
