IstillhateSteveBould
If we stop being so negative, stop sitting back and inviting pressure, start closing down up the pitch, Joao will be sound
IstillhateSteveBould
We didn't look poor against Reading or Ipswich because Joao was upfront and not Nuhiu. Poorly worded. What I meant is Joao being upfront instead of Nuhiu, is not the reason we were poor in those games.
richowl
Joao is a far better option than Nuhiu in a lone striker role. Joao is 100% more mobile than Nuhiu, has pace & is strong. atdhe should only play in a two up top & we saw a massive improvement in his performance when this happened v Middlesbrough. I also think we need to give Joao as much game time as possible because we want him to learn and get better ready for next season's promotion push. Sadly nuhiu is not going to get a lot better unless he loses weight and gains speed
Jesus
We need movement We are far too easy to defend against at the moment Matias infront of FF would give us that. Yeah we wont have a target man but how often does the ball go to either of the current ones and stick there until support arrives? Defenders hate movement off the ball
