Basically asked if Llera could do a job elsewhere in the team, Jones said that he was too slow and not intelligent enough to play elsewhere and that he should concentrate on his job, being a defender. Jones even eluded that Llera wasn't a good defender. So instead of a ball playing, set piece taking central defender who has a habit of scoring - we have Gardener and Taylor. Shocking Jones this will end up costing you your job! On a similar subject whilst not having a go at Kirkland, whether he is playing good or bad we as a unit are conceding too many.
