We head to bogey ground of ours, Crystal Palace on Saturday and are in the midst of an unbeaten run that is simply one of our best ever.

Yes, let's not get carried away but let's also head to places like Palace in confident moods and singing moods, let's go and make some noise away from home.

Here are a few reasons to be positive.

1) We have a fantastic chairman - our financial situation is the best it has been in years

2) We are scoring plenty of goals, 4 goals in the last few minutes of games this season

3) We have 2 tremendous wingers, JJ and Antonio, IF both of them are on fire in a game there are few teams outside the top 8 out of the Prem that will cope. We had Antonio scaring a strong Fulham last night.

4) We have a team who just do not give up. How many Wednesday teams in recent years would have capitulated at Oldham, Derby and v Millwall? Probably all but this one.

5) Virtually every player on the pitch is capable of scoring, at this level it is vital.

6) The support at home has been very good, let's sell out Palace and try and take a few to Brighton. Away from home is where we will slip up.

7) Hillsborough is a very difficult place for anyone to come. 4 defeats in 34 competitive home games, one of those was end of 10/11 season, another was Blackpool v home in FA Cup last season.

8) We have a fantastic manager who is getting the best out of the players.

9) I still think there is more to come. Rodri, Madine, Antonio, McCabe and half the defence are all going to get better. We will stop conceding silly goals, we didn't concede against a strong Premier League side last night. WE CAN DEFEND.

10) Winning becomes addictive, as long as we keep picking up points, who knows what will happen. These next two away matches will show us what we are capable of, there are 2 major bananaskins ahead and that's why the team need people to head to them!

11) If we are positive, it will only help the team. Instead of sitting on your hands at a match or listening to a radio finding out what the Pigs and Dingles are doing, cheer, show some encouragement.

12) The other half of the city are poo pooting themselves. Financially on the rack, can't afford to pay their players, just lost another play off final, Wednesday doing well, if we were in their situation, we'd be poo pooting it to! Let's keep up the vibe and let's hope their supporters pick up on it. Negativity at the Lane will spread. Let's face it, we'd all love to see them struggling after the years of poo poo from their fans.

13) We have just beaten a Premier League club at home for the first time since Leicester City in the Prem in 2000!

14) Other sides have gone straight through the leagues, (Danny Mills said we look good enough!!!) Norwich, Southampton. We have made a perfect start, yes we didn't beat Derby but let's continue with the start and BELIEVE.

This WILL be a good season, now let's go to Palace, get something down there and continue to BELIEVE the good days are coming back.

UP THE OWLS.
