Antonio vs marshall?

Antonio is quicker and more powerful, Marshall is two footed and a more cultured player.

I'd say Marshall edges it based on his impressive performances at Leicester. But let's see what Antonio can come up with at this level.

Antonio is more direct which means he can overhit his crosses as he is often crossing when he is running. Marshall likes to flip around on the wing a bit (which is very entertaining) before delivering the ball and his crosses tend to be more accurate as the ball is under control when he crosses, however, by taking his time, he allows the defenders to set themselves. There is very little between them but I agree that Antonio can learn more and has more potential, therefore, I would choose Antonio on that basis.

The thing about Ben is, he would have been much less of a work in progress. But as NH says imagine having them both with JJ as an impact player= Dream Ticket !

Marshall and Antonio on either would wing would be immense but obviously that isnt going to happen. I think it was vital that we secured Antonio (well hopefully have) as a young player with his pace and power are very hard to find, especially for less than £1,000,000. As good as marshall was/is i do think that players like him are easier to find.
