Seriously?

Miller might be on a decent-ish wage for League One but will have to take a drop no matter where he ends up now.

Spurr can't be on that much of a wage that United can't afford him...

Spurr had a very decent pay increase a couple of years ago, and he's not been the same player since. Say for instance he is on around 5 thousand per week, I think United will struggle to find that. The blunts had a wage bill of 12 million this last season, and if they had stopped up, they were looking to drastically cut the wage bill anyway, relegation means they will lose 4 million pounds of revenue which they hadn't accounted for. I would expect them to have a wages budget of between 5 and 6 million next season.

All their big earners will go, except the ones that no-one wants, like Cresswell. So I think Miller and Spurr are out of their reach, and don't forget Spurr is under contract, Megson might seek a fee for him. QPR offered around 600 thousand for him but that was when De Sousa was manager, he's probably too cultered for colin.

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.
