US_Owl
Was thinking about which squad number has been the most successful, meaning which has been worn by our best players over the years. Also, this will naturally work out which the worst players have worn, and if we have an unlucky squad number! I'll start with the current squad, just cut and paste into the next reply and add any players you can think of in bold into the appropriate number that they wore in the famous blue and white. And yes, i am very bored at work. 1 Nicky Weaver 2 Tommy Spurr 3 Lewis Buxton 4 Darren Purse (captain) 5 Richard Hinds 6 Michael Morrison 7 Mark Reynolds 8 Tommy Miller 9 Paul Heffernan 10 Giles Coke 11 Daniel Jones 12 13 Richard O'Donnell 14 Darren Potter 15 Mark Beevers 16 17 James O'Connor 18 19 Luke Boden 20 21 Gary Teale 22 THE RADIATOR 23 Jermaine Johnson 24 Chris Sedgwick 25 Arron Jameson 26 27 28 29 Liam Palmer 30 Clinton Morrison 31 32 Gary Madine 33 Neil Mellor 34 35 36 Jon Otsemobor

pgmetcalf
Ever heard of the saying, "Play for your shirt?" Iit seems everyone has a shirt, regardless if they are good enough or not to play in the first team. Is this part of the problem?

***HIRSTY***
Cant have been because Potter and Purse are both listed in the first post. That's my point, people are just putting players who wore that number shirt, pointless.

owlZfan84
Are trying to tell me people class Hendon as a 'best player?' Regardless of his scabby, deflected goal at Bumhole Lane Hendon was positively horrendous.
