KivoOwl
1-0 Wednesday. Scott Canham running at the defence from deep, beat two men, could have played Modest in but instead took it past one last defender before rifling into the bottom corner from 20 yards. Outstanding solo goal. Patrick Lacey lucky to be on the pitch, yet another x-rated tackle from him.
KivoOwl
2-0, Canham plays a lovely through ball to Vadaine Oliver who rounds the keeper at pace and slots home. Wednesday well on top.
KivoOwl
Nathan Modest has been excellent, his pace his terrorising them and he holds the ball up so well, and isn't afraid of taking it past a defender even when tightly marked. KivoOwl
Second half City have come more into it and Sean Cuff just made a fine double save, but it's still 2-
KivoOwl
2-1, penalty conceded by Eckhardt. U16's were 1-0 up at half time and have just lost 1-

gurujuan
Still, another very impressive performance against strong opponents. Thanks for the regular updates Kivo
malek
Shame about result in the end, but still Man City must be one of the strongest squads at that level. I'm so glad to read that young Canham did so well again, and got himself his first goal for U-18's And he is the only first year kid in the starting 11. Almost like reading about "young" Owen Morrison all over again
whatdial
Is there a league table for the academy league anywhere?
malek
Kivo, I still don't get who are our 2 central defenders out of Eckhart, Magill and Nyoni, and who is playing in central-midfield alongside Paddy Lacey ? My guess is that Magill is played as midfielder ?!
