Nice bloke Darren Moore so I wish him well. But my god, oh to be a failed football manager. This is his 3rd managerial post in less than 12 months - and he's taken away 2 big payoffs in that time. (I accept he shouldn't have been sacked last summer by the way).

Composed again today against Leeds away. I can see why he starts every game, great control, never loses it cheaply and always commits to a tackle. Honestly don’t get the negative comments he gets on here. I think he’ll get better and better too.

It really isn't it

Exciting times. Always hoped when Xisco came in that we would look at young, pacy, creative players from abroad. It seems that’s exactly what is happening now. Hopefully gone are the days when we buy slow, mediocre players for extortionate fees like Rhodes and Reach. Starting to feel like the season when we bought Forestieri, Wallace, Joao, Hooper and co. Bring it on!

I just wanted pace in the team, that’s what we lack massively. Valentin is fast. We need more tricky pacy players to come in. Munoz has said he wants players that can be a threat one on one …..music to my ears! hopefully Wilkes comes good this season too. I’m excited.

I think it might be fun this year. I love it when we get foreign players I've never heard of before. Reminds me of the time when we had the incoming likes of Pecnic, Matias, Forestieri, Pudil, Sasso, Venancio, Joao, etc. Going back even further, Orlando Trustful and Regi Blinker!!

Really sad news, one of the best managers I’ve seen at Wednesday, played some good stuff under him, got to finals, brought Chris Waddle here. Should never have been sacked when we finished mid table in the Premier league. Seemed such a nice bloke too. R.I.P

I’m normally a positive person but this is awful. Also why I never go to friendlies anymore. Imagine paying to watch this?!
