SolihullOwl79
The first 3 formations as above are all the same in principle just depends on how you interpret them. Either way, 433, 41212 and 4312 all account for 3 attacking players. Either 3 out and out strikers, 1 striker and 2 wide men or 2 strikers and a floating creative playmaker in the hole. With the versatility of the squad it's very easy to play in one of these formations and switch it to 442 if necessary or start with 442 if we get outnumbered then switch it the other way. Taking the squad that ended the season it could set up in either of the following 2 and switch between them if required; Westwood Hunt, Lees, Loovens, Pudil Hutch Lee, Bannan Forestieri Joao, Hooper Bench; Wallace, Lopez, Turner, Nuhiu, Matias Switching to Westwood Hunt, Lee, Loovens, Pudil Wallace, Bannan, Lee, Forestieri Joao, Hooper If need be swapping Joao for Nuhiu or Hooper for Matias instead or bringing on Matias on the wing instead of Wallace. Basically we don't need drastic changes for next season. Just 3-4 players for left back, Cd, Cm and St to add serious competition. There are 3 going when their loans end and possibly 4-5 surplus. We don't need to replace all 7-8 that we lose, so long as they are replaced with quality.
MysticOwl
Ever considered 4-4-1? Nah, on a serious note I agree. Huge changes are not needed. We need 3-4 key signings, review the loan players availability and start again.

Lord Snooty
Rounds pegs in round holes is the key whatever we play.
Guest BRADFIELDOWLS
But I think we at least 5 quality players, including a younger, flying winger who can also score and assist- a fit Alan Judge etc. While Wallace's skill and experience takes us so far - and was vital away to Brighton - his age means he can't last 90 tough minutes and he was easy to nullify Saturday. Names anyone now Judge is broke..... Plus, would you gamble on Adeybeyor?
Lord Snooty
Plus, would you gamble on Adeybeyor? I wouldn't gamble on him to mow my lawn. He'd only turn up once a year.
