Guest t4nn1e
Yo - We're in P2. Tried to get P1, but there were only random tickets, here there n everywhere - no pairs. Bit scared now - didn't realise Leicester were so harcore... Anybody going to the pub beforehand? If so - which ones?
Guest t4nn1e
Hey - are you in p1 or p2? Your group sounds alright if you know some Leicester fans... I'm a bit iffy about sitting in P now, cus knowing my luck I'll end up gettin beat up or arrested.. Edited April 24, 2008 by t4nn1e
Guest KilworthFox
Hi Leicester fan here Fair play on the tickets in the home end. Just a heads up, if you have tickets in blocks L or K then don't make it obvious that you are SWFC fans. Pretty much anywhere else in the ground you will be ok, but they are the "hardcore" fans and trouble would only kick off there IMO best of luck vs Norwich
Guest t4nn1e
lols - hey Well, I'm not going there with the intention of causing n e trouble.. just want to enjoy the game, and avoid being beaten up/arrested..

Bedford Owl
Just a further warning on behalf of Leicester City Football Club. If we are to believe that a large number of fans have infiltrated home ends, the policing will be tight in the Family Stand. I would also like to add that for the sake of the safety of your supporters I would refrain from any conspicuous support or celebrations as this will incite trouble and lead to violence. This situation of away fans in home areas has been brought to the attention of the club and police. If you are in the Family Stand, respect that there are children and families who support Leicester in that area. This may also lead to altercations with highly protective parents. Believe me! If you are in K and L Blocks, I would strongly urge you to reconsider. The supporters in these areas will not think twice about confronting away fans with the possibility of trouble. Leicester City fans do not condone away fans in home areas and if recent history dictates, you will be in for rough treatment if identified and then dragged out. You have been warned. Fans have been told to be vigilant and single out away fans for ejection without recompense. You must be bored? As scary as the family stand sounds, i'll take my chances. Was that film "green factory" set in Leicester? Just out of interest. not been to the new ground, where are people drinking?
Guest t4nn1e
Mm... I'm trying to think where the nearest pubs are to the ground... Its relatively close to Leicester Uni - so if any of you recon you could pass for students, that's a good bet.. cheap drink ... Other than that, the ground is close to places like Morresons, odeon and nandos.. but thats about it I recon.. I can't think of any pubs which are that close, cus the ground is sort of in the middle of an industrial park thingy.. theres a few pubs in town though, but the grounds quite far from there.. The more Owls fans in home areas increases the likelihood of trouble. We have a set of fans that do not need a lot of prompting so by these actions it is playing with fire. You may be in the Family Stand, very noble, but there are certain fans at the top of P1 and N who are not the typical sort in the Family Stand. So good luck, I am sure they will be very hospitable. Remember, all away fans will be ejected if identified. That is the policy that has been publicised to all Leicester fans in the media and on the website to be vigilant of any insurgents into home areas. The only trouble will spark off if it becomes evident that Sheff Wednesday fans are in Blocks K & L. They are to the home fans to the left when the away fans face the pitch. The Family stand is full of families and kids strangely enough! The club puts Families near to away fans to keep a calm atmosphere Anyway Us in L and K are mostly ok with fans but there are the typical idiots that want to scrap because " there well ard innit" and they are in L & K, as I said earlier just don't make it obvious or you will get a smack or chucked out and no-one normal (with brain cells) wants that. Lets all have a good day, if we both stay up all the better! I hope Sheffield Wednesday stay up and someone like Southampton goes down!
Guest haverowl
counting house next to morrisons is the away fans pub! Any other suggestions, pub wise? Under normal circumstances The Hind would have suited me fine, but with tickets for the home section I don't fancy being part of a police escort to the ground. Why don't ya come to the SIR ROBERT PEEL, only 10 minutes from the ground, alternatively go to the GATEWAY just across the road from it, both near the ROYAL INFIRMARY.
