Yes the bounce seemed to deceive him but at this level, you would expect players to judge spin on a ball. He panicked.

Didn't have a chance of saving it. He sliced it with his sand wedge increasing the spin on first bounce, not a chance in hell.

Not sure if he had to play a first time pass on his goal line though did he? 

 

Surely he could have taken a touch?

 

I assume this kind of tom foolery is coached into Goalkeepers nowadays
