Fargate is the main shopping area in Sheffield, it’s open to shoppers 7 days a week. That’s why money gets spent on Fargate.

The thing is, when they moved near a football ground, the football ground was there. So why be upset about something near your house when it was already there when you bought or rented it

 

Same as a school, corner shop, church etc etc

Fargate is like a ghost town these days btw. Nothing like it was. 

 

Its underground redevelopment 

it will be great in a year or so

event spaces, coffee shops, art galleries, residential apartments etc

I didn’t say that they were upset about it. I said that they’d be quite happy if they went to play somewhere else. And I’ve never seen 20 odd thousand people heading to a church.
