Weshallovercome
We definitely play better when Bannan is further up the pitch, but still think Pulis might be expecting too much from someone who's only scored 19 goals in almost 400 games. Unfortunately, Barry seems to want to cover every defensive position himself. I have felt that does not have confidence in himself when it comes to attacking the opponents' goal. By far the weakest point in his game is his shooting. This could be easily seen in the warm-up, when everyone would have a shot at goal. Most players could at least hit the keeper, BB'a usually went high and over. We spotted this in the stand. I'm sure Pulis has spotted it. My honest opinion on BB is that he tries too hard everywhere. Maybe , if he let them, some of the players in defensive roles may come out of their shell/ He has to do the job of two players when pelupessy is playing. He can’t pass it to himself. New Maple Staple
What I like the most so far is that Pulis is going to put a system in place that suits the players. This is HUGE. Good management. Simple, straight forward way to get the best out of what we have. Not rocket science, just good old common sense. So, refreshing.
