The fact that some of you are turning your noses up at blokes with promotions on their CV like Karanka and Pulis, but you'd want a journeyman lower league manager who can't stay at a club more than a year is staggering.

I accept we have some ridiculous suggestions for manager this being one. Do you think the playing styles of these two names you suggest fit in with the players we have at our disposal? Pulis had little money at Boro and failed and won no friends. His style is outdated and its a while since anyone got out of this division playing his way. Karanka has been lucky had money to spend at Boro plus friend who loaned him players and it is hardly lasting legacy. He was given big money at Forest and got sacked because they were outside play offs. At beginning of season well touted for promotion including by some here after money spent he failed. He would have little budget at this club pressure is just as great he nearly cracked up at Boro he would be a complete waste of time as he would not fit the club.

We have limited time before new season we need somebody who plays similar style we are trying to play and who will work with players and funds we have available. We also have to be able to recruit them. I actually think we were going right way with high energy high pressing style and it is one which stands a chance of survival in PL if you get promoted. There are not many who fit the requirements of club and we may have to take a chance on someone who has not done it in this league but plays this style.if we opt for a different style we are virtually writing this season off. Our first games are on paper relatively easy and we need to go into them games well prepared if we were trying to play a different way bound not to go well.

The way we played on Friday indicates we are missing coaching team and although we need correct person in think appointment needs making this week.
