Jon Newsome
The fact that some of you are turning your noses up at blokes with promotions on their CV like Karanka and Pulis, but you'd want a journeyman lower league manager who can't stay at a club more than a year is staggering. Salmonbones
Brilliant player, but the thing is about playing football is you don't need to be bright. Sheridan is as thick as they come. It's a good job he was good at football because god know what he'd have done otherwise. The question I have is how come he's been employed as a manager before by any other club?

The Night-Owl
If we were to go for a club legend, I'd have gone for Roland Nilsson a few years ago. We just need to show some ambition or forward thinking, there's no legends worth taking a risk on and I'd ignore all the usual names, failures and merry-go-round job hoppers. Worryingly atm, it appears likely to be one of the typical names no one wants anymore but whoever gets it, we should give them a chance and cut DC some slack after losing Bruce just before the season starts.
