It being publicly owned is a Huge step forward in that respect There’s currently 3 trains a hour to Barnsley from Sheffield..02, 18 and 36 minutes past the hour. IF we are genuinely wanting people to use public transport then we either have to find a way to get the old railway stations back open (I accept that won't work for them all) or develop the tram network further to enable major population centres to be served correctly. What makes me mad around all of this is that London got the Jubilee line and there was not really any need but they got it anyhow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
