Football has evolved so much that 90% can't read the formation anyway.  I include myself in that before anybody pipes up.

That is a good point. Often takes me a while at matches to work out the system. As long as the players understand what’s going on that’s all that matters!!

hooper is a finished, he is at his best when feeding off someone, you can't tie a pedigree finisher to a carthorse job.

 

I suppose it depends how you see the formation, it isn't a carthorse job.

 

In attack it should be 433 with the outside midfielders playing as forwards, therefore supporting the one up who should be a clinical finisher.

 

Hooper has shown he has tricky feet and is capable of holding the ball to play others in...
