Wasn't aware of that, I just assumed that as Carlos said Hutchinson was now considered a centre half (this time last year) that he and Lees would be the first choice pairing. I agree with you. Carlos was clear that he saw Hutch as a centre back. Loovens being injured was a coincidence. The fact that Loovens was available once Carlos realised that Jones (or whoever) wasn't giving adequate protection to the back four, like Hutch did, was fortuitous timing.
