Does MM come on here?!

Recommended Posts

I am sure many would love to know what the problems are - perhaps some folk on here would be able to help?

Obviously the main issue is money.

But there is absolutely no excuse for a lack of leadership on or off the pitch - fostering a siege mentality and getting away from this apparent apathy or lack of interest.

The atmosphere is dead after 10 minutes or until we go a goal down whichever is the earlier.  We have seen that when the motivation is there, the support will back you no matter what.

This squad of players has proved it can work and make the effort - there is no excuse for doing it one game in 6 but that motivation must come from within. Stuart Gray is not a motivator - he has a pally demeanour - he is not sufficiently detached from this group of players to command consistent individual effort and performances.  He does not have that psycopathic streak that is needed to make touch choices.

Throwing the boy Savic on and putting Reda up front yesterday was a sign of panic that indicated he is running out of options or ability to extract every last drop from the senior squad.

But Mandaric doesn't do demanding managers - ones that demand effort or ones that demand support form Chairman in case they undermine his position.

The winner he had after Irvine, he sacked - in favour of someone who had the rug pulled last summer when he was told overnight that he could only bring in players once others were out of the door - at the same time as the tax case.  Jones' undoing IMO was that he was prepared to accept it. Jones is not a man to get himself out of trouble on motivation alone.

Unless Mandaric is prepared to change the way he operates by either throwing money that he hasn't got at it or employing someone who demands performances from those around him then we are only going one way...

He played Reda up front?

The man is a tactical genius.

Guest Distraught!

they be very negligent if they didn't...

in a business where he needs the paying public, to be able to access the thoughts of a serious number of them for free, would be/is a great asset... :milan:

I am sure that certain individuals exist that pass on such information to the powers that be within the club.

You have championed this for sometime and I have agreed - but only on the basis that if you're going to have a bombscare then have it in the oppositions penalty area.

It worked.

Mags scored in the confusion.

Why Gray left it until the last 15 having been two down for half the game when they were there for the taking is the question...
