Greeny79
If our players actually get into into the box or even move forward a bit when we are attacking someone might get on the end of it and score? Beats waiting for a throw in/corner to go forward and hope Llera gets on the end of it I swear it looked like Blackpool had 3-4 more players than us on the pitch at times, first Time this season I have been very worried about what I have seen tbh, No urgency, no plan b, far too casual going forward. Paul G Wisbech Owl
There was absolutely no urgency about us on Saturday, I thought once we got the goal early in the second half we would press on and finish them off, but we seemed to go back into exactly how we played in the first half. Same tonight, when we do go forward there is no movement and no support..well not enough anyway. we just looked flat and not set up like a home side, Blackpool were not as good as some are making out, we made them look better than they are, any killer instinct and we would have won, they just grew in confidence because at 1-0 down we started playing like we were 1-0 up. D'urso was a c8nt as well but there you go.

Blackpools defence was not all that clever but we didn't exploit it like several sides have done lately.

WAWAW
Blackpool were playing 4-4-4 though, wer'nt they.
Glaser
Blackpool were playing 4-4-4 though, wer'nt they. nah 4-6-4 They had an extra midfielder for everyone of ours.... yet every single one of our defenders was also marking a striker at all times !! Frightening the gulf in movement and fluidity of the forward units last night
townend_owl
Blackpool were a technically superior team. Worried by the lack of a plan B with DJ though- SOMETIMES you just have to lump it; try, chuck some more forwards on and try something different to break a side down but we just did the same for the whole game. Guest wilyfox
we're so worried about being hit on the counter that no-one ventures forward except Llera. we miss Reda in that respect, but some of our other players should push forward too. Guest Fedor
Agree with this totally. We seem to play a flat 4-5-1. Surely we should at the very least become a 4-3-3 when attacking. With the midfield duo of Semedo and Mcabe/Corry sitting and protecting then the likes of Antonio , Barkley and Bothroyd should be busting a gut to support COG. This just doesn't happen anywhere near enough. The frustrating thing is that when it does happen we look dangerous. (Barkleys goals recently for instance). When we attack down one flank the player on the opposite wing should be getting in or around the box and it just doesn't happen.(well at least on one side of the pitch anyway.)
