steelowl
Clearly Terry Burton has been a serious loss. A lot of managers have been the business with an unsung hero, their no. 2 Clough was never has good without Taylor Dennis Wise seemed to be a good manager, but clearly it was Poyet Steve Clarke his now doing a good job at WBA Big Jack had Toms and Setters We had Ritchie Barker Keegan had Arthur Cox at Newcastle Terry Burton is a big loss and giving the job to Paul Wilkinson hasn't worked Good point well made - certainly he seems unable now to change a game (for the better) However whose decision was it to sign these under performing players? I may be wrong but you'd think he (Burton) was in on the selection of targets. I'm also not privvy to the his relationship with Wilkinson v Burton but from the outside the difference in our results since he left is stark
dorian gray
Apart from : Brought in too many players too quickly Broken up a fabulous side oozing confidence Dismissed the signing of Danny Batth Brought in the wrong captain. Played our most effective attacking player this season at right back. Bought McGuire and ignored him. Brought in Bothroyd and stuck with him even though he's struggling Failed to change formations when required. Made ridiculous substitutions. Sent Beevers on loan to Millwall. Failed to realise how Rodri should be played. Allowed the defence to play far too deep meaning we are bypassing midfield and just running the ball into opposition defence. Not found a corner taker. Caused in fighting between players. Constantly praised his own signings during interviews. Failed to realise we are playing crap and saying we are close to competing at this level. Other than this. Brilliant !! apparently been through the drawers in the desk and found the alan irvine coaching manual... :st2:
Guest Nejc_Penik
Could it be that Dave Jones can't stand any praise for Megsons squad? He was playing for a draw, not only a draw but a 0 - 0. Some will say that's an improvement, but it's not. We still lost. I said four points from our next two games. We got one. I'd be very surprise if he didn't leave between now and our next game, but maybe he'll get one extra game. He can hardly play for a draw in this one can he?
