At the end of last season Dave Jones was the Messiah, and could do no wrong in the eyes of ALL Wednesday supporters. During the close season he brought in a squad of players that, previously, we ALL could only dream about and drool over. He also got rid of several players that we ALL agreed should go.

Two weeks into the new season his results had elevated him even higher in the estimation of us ALL.

Six games later an ever growing number of so called "supporters" are suddenly becoming wise after the event and calling for his blood.

It takes time for a new squad to gel together, and a little tolerance is now called for. Remember, we ALL welcomed his actions at the time.

All valid points - but if he cannot get his squad accumulating enough points, it's bye bye.

I just have a feeling if we lose again tonight Milan will strike the panic button, seven defeats in a row will be just too much for him to take. But from what iv'e seen on Owlstalk and speaking to people I know, it may once again prove to be an unpopular decision, guess we will just have to trust our Chairman, he got it right the last time.
