vienna
I am planning a trip to Wycomb (29/10). I will be at Heathrow at 09:00 am. Normally, I always take the National Rail, but at 29/10 there will be “engineering work that may be affecting Chiltern Railways”. Also this would be no solution for this time. Can somebody give me a hint about the transport possibilities from Heathrow (29/10/2011, 09:00am) to Adams Park, Wycomb (29/10/2011, 11:30am) and vice versa (after the game). Thank you in advance for the helpful hints.
oh_weds_we_love_you
The London Tube to Amersham is as far as the Tube goes in that direction. Wycombe is then about 8 miles from Amersham, so a taxi or a bus would be an option. EDIT: warning, engineering works also planned - assume it is the same engineering as Chiltern Railways? alanharper
Heathrow Airport to Wycombe Wanderers FC is 23 miles by road or 20 miles in a straight line. If you're getting there for 9am you can probably briskly walk it in time for the 3pm kick off

Pompeyowl
Can you make it to kings cross? I only ask because I'm hoping to get to this one and Welwyn Garden City is only a couple of stops outside of kings cross. If I can get to the game I'd be happy to lift you there. millomowl
Hi, Have a look at the following link: http://www.londonbusroutes.net/times/A30_A40_740.htm This service runs from LHR to Wycombe & takes an hour not sure of the cost though but will be quickest option. Hope this helps, UTO
