Essix Blue
Beware if you're travelling north to Sheffield. I'm sat in the traffic at the moment and haven't moved for 45 minutes so this could be closed quite a while.
latemodelchild
Highways agency says 4 lanes shut. Normal traffic flow should resume at 9.45 according to their site.
Essix Blue
Looks like one lane has opened but tailbacks are horrendous already. If you do have to come this way here's a tip - leave M1 at J25, follow signs to Eastwood then Riey and eventually you'll join the A38 and then the M1 at J28 after the smash. Essix Blue
Is southbound ok? Was closed a while but is open now. I haven't got past the accident yet so don't know if there's a tailback.

Essix Blue
South bound clear. All lanes open north bound but quite a tailback.
