Thought Madine dived for our pen and was disappointed that the ref overruled the Lino for a pen in the second half. Would've taken a point before the game so quite happy, but on the day we could've played a lot better. Great away following and some good fancy dress. Good fun celebrating the Pigs downfall. Looked a little lost and didn't provide the beat defensive cover for Semi. Out of position though, so not his fault. BRADDAZ Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 We were crap, but rarely looked that troubled. Suprised me how little Rovers offered when they needed to win the game. Ref was poo . Mellor and Madine quiet. JOC and Teale were pants. Back four reasonably solid Miller ok. Palmer, few good things but mostly poor. Weaver made a couple of good saves. Johnson lively when he came on. MOM - Hmm not sure... maybe Semi. Also, Rovers fans are a fiesty lot outside the ground. Not a nice bunch, especially when we had to walk a few mile to the hotel. Lee A Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 End of season stuff from Wednesday, comfortable game played in 2nd gear. Bristol tried but were too crap to do anything. Been a critic of Semi recently but he played very well in 2nd half, probably would give him MOM, positioned himself really well. Better the result of Carlisle or Colchester next week and we finish in top half, I think that would be a good finish all things considered. Guest on the band wagon Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 average performance back 5 were solid enough stood off them a little in 2nd half they were v poor fans great still managed to get a good atmospere and noise even in the open terrace especially when news of the pigs was coming through funny moment, a couple of stewards came in the crowd to have a go at a couple of owls who had been giving one of their colleagues a few verbals suddenly they seemed to panic and just said "don't worry lads" and scurried off pretty good away day, but not for the football Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The fancy dress was amazing, loved the Thunderbirds, Tellytubbies, Smurfs, Dwarfes etc etc. Cracking atmosphere, even in the services on the way home. The football on the pitch was similar to usual!
