Weshallovercome
Good job Sniper1 has taken a break from Owlstalk or he'd be all over your ass for being negative and not moving on. I miss him, wonder when he'll be back.

Guest Distraught!
I said this after his first press conference. He said there would be money to spend without batting an eyelid, like he was talking about nipping off to the shops for some milk. Not a massive song and dance about signing players out of "own pockets" but then not actually doing it. Shows how lucky we are though as very few people spend money on football these days. Allen did loan/spend a bit of money at a crucial time but were now in a totally different scenario thankfully! Different personalities, different missions! DA had to satisfy his own ego and talking up his own personal investment was part of that. For Mandaric, owning football clubs has a different perspective. Mandaric looks at everything through the eyes of the venture capitalist. Signing players to him is not about satisfying ego. It is about risking capital with the aim of getting a return on the investment. It is noticeable that the type of players we are looking to sign are young, have potential to improve and are being sold for what might be considered their true market value. That means that there will be a very good chance of accumulated resale value.
RobHowe
what i loved about them is they all thought they were so big and important, yet they were all small time business men and absolute nobodies in football. MM is showing them how a real business man runs a football club, mainly with real money and without all the stupid fukin fuss.
