PEARSON
Weaver - 8 Otsemobor - 3 Purse - 6 Beevers - 7 Spurr - 3 Johnson - 4 Miller - 7 O'Connor - 5 Teale - 6 Morrison - 4 Mellor - 6 Defensively the problems came down both flanks. Otsemobor is getting a lot of stick, IMO Spurr was just as bad. The goal was his fault. Johnson looked like he couldnt be arsed, Morrisons had a bad day. Beevers and Miller won a lot of headers and have done ok. Weaver played well and made a lot of good saves. Its an all round bad performance though and Irvine has to take fault for that. Guest ak15
08 Weaver - The only SWFC player to come out with any credit? The goal was unstoppable but he made some great saves 04 Otsemobor - Kept getting skinned in defence 06 Purse - At least showed leadership and composure 06 Beevers - Average 04 Spurr - Not good enough 06 Johnson - Little more than an outlet and he should have buried that early chance 07 Miller - Stepped up to the occasion, well done 03 O'Connor - Chased shadows for most of the game, we may as well have played with 10 men 05 Teale - Not his usual self today 06 Morrison - Didn't get enough service 05 Mellor - Lazy at times, I would drop him for the next match 05 Sedgwick - Got stuck in but was ineffective 06 Jones - More composed than Otsemobor at least 05 Heffernan - A joke of a substitute, had no time to get involved Edited January 3, 2011 by ak15

Blue n White Rampage
05 Heffernan - A joke of a substitute, had no time to get involved You mean Joke of a substitution, otherwise its offensive to the Heff. Weaver - 6/7 - standard keepers performance. Was out of position for the goal but even if he was in correct position there wouldnt of been much he could do about it. Otsembor - 5 - Poor today Purse - 7 - A solid performance from him today Beevers - 6 - \didnt do anything worthy of a special mention. Needs to practice his attacking headers if hes going to attack from corners Spurr - 5 - didnt seem to show up today JJ -5 - needs another couple o games to get into the swing of things Miller - 6- The only midfield player who really showed up today. JOCk -5- Had a bad day. Teale -5- Nothing came off for him today, below his usual standards. Mellor -6- Didnt do too much, but did ok when he got the ball. With better refereeing his performance would have been much better Morrison - 6- Didnt get much time on the ball but showed moments of class. Stuck up for Mellor against both the ref and the lump of a defender. Referee- 4- Awful performance, linesmen too. Didnt necessatrily affect the result but ruined the game by lack of understanding and inability to use his opticals. The team in general looked short of a captain and motivation. At a certain point the team didnt have any ideas any more and looked dispondent. The big money has to come out for a big experienced midfielder to captain us, because we desperately need a captain.
