Guest intercity0wl
What a rubish commentry - the guy obviously has not a clue who is playing for the owls - I dont think he has named one yet - when reading dont have the ball he says "Sheffield wednesday have the ball" no names mentioned yet - no idea what our team is - its like listening to radio Leeds. CRAP. Is this radio Reading FC !!!!! by the way its 0-0 20 mins played. OF COURSE IT IS, and to be fair to the southern commentators,nNo wednesday players had names on their shirts in the other game v Sporting so if it was the same yesterday there is no wonder they did not know the owls players names. BBC Berkshire were basically doing a service for the Reading supporters back home, and im sure had BBC Sheffield been bothered about doing the same it woud have had the same results re the Reading players (ALF excepted), and not many of us would have given a poo about it. poo commentary or not im sure the Reading fans were grateful to their local radio for taking the time to cover their teams meaningless friendly in Portugal, and the knocking of it by Owls fans is only to be expectedm and par fo the course. latemodelchild
Considering the bbc is making cuts to local radio it seems a strange decision to send 2 commentators to Portugal for pre season friendlies.
Guest intercity0wl
Considering the bbc is making cuts to local radio it seems a strange decision to send 2 commentators to Portugal for pre season friendlies. Maybe the clubs new wealthy backers chucked in a bob or two for it to happen, they did say they were getting a few player interviews afte the game and then off to bed as they had an early flight home this morning. latemodelchild
Maybe. Just seemed like a lot of expense for local bbc radio.
