Wednesday-Wonderland
Probably because 9 times out of 10 he has no end product.
JackSwfc12
He didn't bring him on earlier because JJ is an attacking type of player, Irvine is boring and defensive

Atleast he can run like a clumsy clot into the box, so when he loses it we MIGHT be able to pick it up in the box. What does Sedgwick offer? Guest
He may have no end product but he scared em to death when he came on and made all the difference.
Glaser
Atleast he can run like a clumsy clot into the box, so when he loses it we MIGHT be able to pick it up in the box. What does Sedgwick offer? this this this this..... he is slow to react, slow to get his head up, slow at running...... We all know why he picks him, because he is more defensive and will "put a shift it" as a right winger he is criminally poor. as a right sided, defence minded midfielder he is solid.... we all know Alan favours negation of the opposition..... so get used to it..... Wednesday-Wonderland
Hopefully Reynolds will play LB so Jones can play on the left wing then swap Teale to right wing. Sedgwick can't beat a man to save his life (criminal for a winger) and is so slow it looks like he's running in treacle.
Guest bartos
Sedgewick was much better 2nd just to kill off my criticism for taking Teale off. He even went mental at JJ for not delivering earlier, when he did the same man 6 times.. I had to laugh

What does Sedgwick offer? Sedgewick is so slow it's unbelievable. But, he can cross the ball and plays some exceptional little through balls for the forwards. The cross for Heffernan's goal was far better than any cross JJ has made in his entire career. Personally, I'd have brought JJ on, but taken Miller off and put Sedgewick in the middle of the park. Sedgewick is far more mobile than Miller, and as slow as he is as a winger, he's pacier than Miller, added to which he's a much better passer of the ball. I had to laugh I said exactly the same thing to my mate, he went absolutely mental at JJ for not crossing it in earlier....despite turning there left back inside out 4 times.....then the ball went to sedewick and he lost it !!! @owlstalk
What was AI thinking?!? Also why not bring him on as soon as it went 0-2? Crazy. Simply think it's because Alan Irvine set off to try and neutralise Charlton and sneak a 1-0 win Owlstalk Shop

JJ got a start and was hopeless and did nothing to earn a shirt. . I agree with AI , he changed it for the cup game last week and we won 3-0. For all the problems we have with AI we simply have too many players that the manager cannot rely on. He has no idea what kind of performance he is going to get from some of 'em.
