OneEightSixSeven
Buys a minority share in Birmingham City. Another high profile yank getting involved with footy. Should give them publicity in the US. A growing trend, maybe we could benefit?
SiJ
There is a good Tweet that I just read about this. Basically, celebs like Brady are really just schills for these venture capitalists. They "buy" a share and then become a public figure, but will probably have little in the way of any actual involvement. It's great PR and will raise the club profile, but it shouldn't get away from the fact that American venture capitalists are involved in football for one reason: to make money. This Tweet also said Brady is getting sued for some other endorsement he did a while back where people lost loads of money. aussieowl87
I'm still in full Peaky Blinders disbelief that Shelby Company Limited have invested in Birmingham. Could've sworn they were Villa fans.
