I liked Luongo a lot but if Moore wants to fit the above three attacking players we need an extremely mobile DCM. Luongo had a great engine but wasn't as quick as say Adeniran or even Vaulks for that matter. Having the 5 CM options of Baz, Windass, Byers, Adeniran, Vaulks would suggest Luongo was surplus to requirements and he was on champ wages. Remains to be seen but from where I'm sitting it looks like we've upgraded our midfield (and attack). Defence tbc, would like to see another lefty who can play LB/ LCB as the lad from Huddersfield is bobbins. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
