Baffling Substitutions

I don’t think the subs are too difficult to understand, certainly not ‘baffling’

 

Iorfa was always going to be the first man to be brought on but the fact Joao ‘had’ to come off meant it was a little more creative. It’s clear that Bruce also wanted to see Iorfa in the right back position since he’s clearly already identified that as an area we need to strengthen.

 

As others have said, Matias was having a ‘mare and moved out of the way. So also understandable - if there had been 20 mins left then sure...it’s baffling...but we’re literally talking about a couple of mins.

 

Jos was baffling, this was understandable...if perhaps a little pre-meditated (with Iorfa).
