I think that is a bit to do with formation and tactics where Matias has had a defensive job to do as well and the team simply playing too deep.

We just don’t attack enough.

We have an attacking 11 today but that is no good if we decide to play on the edge of our own box

Tell me about it, it’s a similar situation with Joao and Forestieri All three are asked to prioritise defensive duties, at the expense of the day job, creating and scoring goals.

Westwood being injury prone... The myth that won't go away. 

 

He played virtually every game for 3 years before a spell injured last season. 1 serious injury in 4 years doesn't deserve the "prone" label at all and is clearly nothing to do with why he's been frozen out this season.
