I was talking about this with a mate while at the game. I can’t remember us giving him a particularly hard time during his time with us. He was a youngster who just wasn’t at the level needed during his time with us. I was surprised there seemed to be bad feelings on his side.

He did the same when he played for Wolves a couple of year ago when he put them 0-1 up... We ended up battering them 4-1.

He is a nob. I would have scored the two he got today. Not good enough for the prem albeit a decent striker if you create enough chances for him. Basically he had one decent year at Wolves. Would rather have Joao. If we created for Joao half of what Afobe had at Wolves and now Stoke he would easily outscore Afobe...

Yeah - his reaction to scoring was rather odd. 

 

Almost as though he left us on bad terms??? 

 

I remember is as neither good nor bad really.
