That drop ball.

Just loved Maguire pushing that berk away from the free kick in the first half.

Memories of Ken Knighton came to mind.

The kid has the Wednesday spirit raging in his veins.

Was it Maguire? My eyes is dim, tha sees.

If ever a player was less like Ken Knighton than Chris Maguire, I have yet to see him. He goes to ground too easily, and seems to spend a lot of time complaining to the officials. Knighton was hard as nails, and just got on with it without whinging. Maguire though, has ability that Knighton could only have dreamed about.

Referee just lost control of the game in spells, it was with Coke when he stopped the game, Glenn Murrey was a tail end, he was insisting it was a drop kick so the ref agreed with him.

So happy we scored a late deflected free kick, a right kick in the bolllocks for them, deservingly.

We march on..........

It was eventually the only thing he got right. At first he asked the Reading player to kick it back to our goal until it was pointed out to him that we were in posession when he blew at which stage, he gave the dropped ball which, in the laws of the game is the correct decision.

He could've easily have said to Murrey ' look kick it out of play to give Wednesday possession back' it's called common sense regardless of rules, many refs have done it, why not he?
