The site would need to be totally cleared and a football stadium built from scratch. Could be good for training though... No reason why it couldn't be a decent stadium. Not saying I'd want us to move there though- would be a good move for the Blunts I reckon. Think if any football club did buy it, that's what they would have in mind.Does anybody know if there is going to be government grants or subsidies made available for redevelopment in the area? Guest Ripley Owl Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 (edited) At least this could turn out to be a decent debate, at some stage we are going to have to spend millions on developing Hillsborough or moving shop and building a new stadium. On the plus side it would be less than 2 miles from the M1 and the new HIgh Speed railway station at Meadowhall.
