  1. How much do you think "he" gets from your season ticket purchase?
  2. We had planning permission granted a few years ago, no reason to think it wouldn't be again.
  3. The stadium has suffered from chronic under investment for decades. All that has been done for as long as I can remember is the minimum to keep it operational. Even some of the suggestions made on here like "a kick of paint" would cost several hundred thousand pounds. The stadium needs more than a cosmetic makeover it needs major redesigning. The north stand concourses need a redesign so the stand can be used to its full capacity. The kop & west stand including the NW corner need totally replacing. It's not likely to happen without sustained top flight footba
  4. Hardly a suprise considering income generated for the last 12 months has been almost £0 Not defending DC but it's hard to pin this totally on him, a global pandemic and a season without a fan being in the stadium won't have been thought of as a risk in many clubs financial planning.
  5. Who knows what the situation would be. I can't see how the club could sell a sponsorship deal for a building they don't own. With how rushed the sale of the ground appears who knows if sufficient detail was put in the leaseback agreement re sponsorship, naming rights etc.
  6. We don't own the stadium so any naming rights wouldn't go to the club.
  7. Sheffield 3 is it that owns the stadium now? They could sell back to SWFC for a nominal fee with an agreed future payment of £60m when we get back to the premier league, club then sells the stadium again to Sheffield 4 for what ever number chansiri plucks out of the sky. EFL spontaneously combust.
  8. As title, EFL drop all charges against Chansiri, and others.
  9. Give us a clue how he can double the club's turnover. That's what would need to happen for us to be able to sustain a squad capable of challenging at the top end of the table without him having to continuously fund losses. Selling more shirts and pies won't cut it unfortunately.
  10. What would you suggest he do differently (that will actually make a tangible difference)? The biggest mistake is not selling players when we've had decent offers. But imagine the outcry if we'd have sold FF after his first season with us when the bids were coming in.
  11. New account and overdraft with the co-op bank?
  12. And those "fans" were happy to let the club slip in to administration.
  13. Barring VAT what tax liabilities are we trying to avoid using this scheme as a loss making company? What money do you think is going to be taken out of the club considering without the owner consistently covering losses we'd be up poo creek. I'm no financial expert so it's a genuine question.
  14. What money do you expect is being moved off shore when we are losing tens of millions of pound per year. We don't even generate enough money inturn over to pay the players wage bill. There certainly won't be anything going back to the owner.
  15. I imagine that Sheffield Wednesday Holdings majority owner will be DC. This, I think is just another way of investing in the club. It will probably ease the impact of the losses over the last 12 months.
  16. You mean they haven't arranged them 6 months ago? We won't be playing United in Portugal. So there's no need to panic.
  17. How many other side's arramge their preseason friendlies 6 months in advance?
  18. I think Steve Gibson should remember how much money he has thrown at Boro and promotions over the last 15 years or so. When we couldn’t afford to pay HMRC Boro were still spending. They’ve also had how many lots of parachute payments. What Derby and to a similar extend us / Chansiri is doing is exactly what he did at Boro before P&S rules were in place.
  19. Tommy Spurr Mark Beevers Joe Mattock The basis of a solid defence
  20. Yes because that's how business and planning applications work.
  21. 23 days per year there will be a game at Hillsborough which will boost trade and have virtually 0 impact on traffic barring the loss of existing parking spaces. This development is almost exactly they type of projects that are being pushed for brownfield sites or hosting developments so planning will almost certainly be granted. Looking at the proposal is doesn't go against any planning rules set by the government.
