Guest richjones19772000
I looked at a video on here after the derby match,it showed the players coming off the pitch an being greeted by the megson an the staff. One or two of them looked so relieved as they hugged some of the players when they came off,I remember thinking to myself Jesus they anyone would think they had just saved their jobs or Somthing ? Looking back now maybe that's what they thought ??
Guest SnookerOwl
The world overall is a cut throat mad house. Life is tough - very tough. I hope they all are able to find new clubs sometime soon.
scram
A lot of backroom satff don't have the protection of contracts enjoyed by managers either - and even then severance pay for a manager can be somewhat less than some people seem to think. In general managers tend to be wealtheir and with a better chance of getting employed elsewhere - can be a very fraught time for many backroom staff though
Simaniac Owl
Hopefully some of them will stay. Who knows. Rhodes is a great keeper coach from what I hear. Chris Evans Has worked with DJ before. Some continuity would be great and IMO essential considering we have 13 games left and maybe play offs. UTO regardless of who the manager is. Take care and all the best for the future. Hopefully see you soon.
BRADDAZ
I've often thought today what training must have been like this morning. Evans, Thompson and Rhodes with all the players. The atmosphere must have been horrendous. Not ideal for Saturday at all. This could (and in my opinion will) see us implode.
swfc1301
seeing as Chris Evans is in charge on saturday, I think we should give him the same send off we gave Megson. He deserves it too. For one day only it will be "Chris Evans' Barmy Army!"
