MM has said over and over that the aim this window is to bring in at least 6 players. Do you think the uncertainty over Irvines position has had an effect on the frequency with which we've been signing, or will sign, players? or do you think that MM has more of a say in WHO we sign than AI does? There has been a very noticable halt to proceedings since the Leyton Orient game, and very little in the way of rumours. Would Irvine risk signing the players he wants now for fear of being out of a job in the next week? neo hippy Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 (edited) i think MM has decided to let Irvine have the rest of the season including bringing in who he wants. he does need time to get all the new lads playing together and really shape his team. It's not what we want as fans, but probably is the safe option. Let him carry out his plan to the end and see where we are then. we're hardly going to get relegated this season, and a new manager and real hard season long push can start next season if need be. probably going to be a pretty terrible next 4 months for us as fans though, seeing the team underperform week in week out Edited January 27, 2011 by neo hippy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
