oh_weds_we_love_you
I'm more interested as to why we can't open the North South Corner. (and how ironic that a part-time fan, who can't get a ticket, gets the name of a stand wrong)

Junglejay
OWWLY, I find it strange how you appear to take great delight in the fact that some Wednesday fans (for whatever their reason) have not been able to get hold of tickets for Sunday. Correction. I have sympathy for those fans with genuine reasons for not buying tickets prior to the Palace v WBA game and now cannot get a ticket to see the biggest match for some time. However, I fúcking despise those who are ranting, calling the club/its employees every insult under the sun because they haven't got a ticket due to waiting to see if Palace failed to win on Monday night. So yes, I'm over the fúcking moon that the 'fans' in the sentence above have missed out. I'd rather have sold the NW Corner (has it been opened) to Palace fans for £11 more than 'Wednesdayites' who haven't shown their face all season and are part of the problem in this great club not progressing. Did I say that I'm fúcking delighted?
Junglejay
Oooooo. Someone's tired! I didn't say you were delighted, it just appears that way from your postings. I think that anyone without a ticket is probably more frustrated with themselves for not paying £10 in advance to secure a ticket. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! Although having said that, considering some of the poo we have been served up this year I can see why people would want to wait, especially if they are also commuting from a distance like so many of us do. I do however agree with you regarding fans insulting the club/staff when everyone had the chance to purchase tickets prior to Tuesday. I personally don't care who is in the ground Sunday just as long as it's full and a cracking atmosphere.

I personally don't care who is in the ground Sunday just as long as it's full and a cracking atmosphere. Like I said mate, I'm all for those people who have genuine reasons and have accepted that they should probably have acted sooner, if possible (I even spent 2 hours last night trying to help get two poster on here, who I've never met or spoken to before, to get tickets online). I wouldn't be posting anything about the subject if everyone was like that. Unfortunately, an ever-increasing number of fans are shouting their frustrations, and blaming everyone but themselves, for missing out. That is out-of-order and the smug/delighted jibes are aimed solely at those scumbags. I would love to see the NW Corner full on Sunday too, but ideally with genuine Owls or Palace fans, and not the type that are kicking and screaming at the club for not getting a ticket/selling two tiers to Palace fans because it is obviously the club's fault and not theirs for only wanting to come if Palace didn't beat WBA. Guest utOwlz
Why do we need permission to sell tickets in our own ground? I dont get it. When we played Man Utd in 99/00 we sold out the complete stadium so why cant the police let us have that stand? I mean what if we became a Premiership club again, would the Police still not let us use our own ground!! Its pathetic, its our ground we should be able to use every last seat if we require! Junglejay
Fair play. Although I'm not sure the OP was kicking off about the club it was more towards the Safety Advisory Group. Roll on Sunday!!!!

The same reason pubs need permission to sell alcohol in their own buildings. All sorts of red tape, licenses, permission etc to host public events, serve alcohol etc. Just the way of the world. Fair do's JungleJay, just busy doing to same rant to everyone who kicks and screams about missing out on tickets!
