Obviously up to 7 bookings now!!

Although all the bookings aren't good and we have a tendency to give away silly free kicks in dangerous areas, the fact that we top that table doesn't bother me.

I'd much rather have a team full of players willing to get stuck in (and even back each other up in the event of a scrap) than a team who don't put challenges in and just roll over, especially in the face of aggressive opponents like last night.

 

Too many defeats at places like Preston  where the home team are "combatable"  and in our faces in recent years, without having the bottle for a fight. 

I'd rather us top the bookings table and come away with a win. 

 

Having said that I don't think we've become a dirty side, we just won't roll over and seem to get many strange decisions going against us from mainly awful referees.

Looks like he's taken back his mantle from Barry Bannan. We always seem to have at least one player who attracts yellow cards. Don't mind so much in the last few minutes, but its a sign of trouble if achieved early in the game.
