Prendo's boots
Broccoli will only improve with the more games he gets.....the system 4-5-1 now suits him and hes making himself available for the ball all the time....it takes time for any player to settle...every 'new' player needs to be given time in a specific position/role to develop and understand how his team mates play etc...slagging em off after one or two games is ridiculous but sadly is the norm on here!! I expect Martin Taylor to be a good signing too once he gets his chance. It'll be easier for all the players hopefully once weve climbed the table a bit and now that fans expectations are more reasonable!!! Adem Poric
Barkley is obviously very talented but there is no way we could play him in a 4 man midfield at the moment. He really struggles with concentrating on what he needs to do OFF the ball. When he's on the ball the talent is there for all to see but he wont get in the Everton team until he learns how to work for the team. Once he learns to make better decisions he will be the best player in the Championship. Hopefully for the whole season. He will be England's best player in a few years though. A midfield with him and Wilshere should be something every England fan dreams of. In the last few years Gareth Barry has been almost ever present for England and now we've got these 2 coming through. Big difference.
Guest evertontoffee
If he was the finished article, he wouldn't be out on loan. The fact that he needs to learn is why he is at Wednesday. You'll get the benefits of him playing for you, but need to expect the odd blunder. We can't afford blunders in the Premiership though, so I think he will be with you for the rest of the season if he works hard and fights for his place there. No doubt when he 'is' the finished article, he'll be sold to City for 60 bazillion quid to fund the next squad, but fingers crossed Everton fans will get the chance to enjoy him too before that happens.
