Just because its on Sky Sports that doesn't make it exactly right. No one else think the SSN team just make an educated guess and always round up to the nearest round number? (e.g. they'd never put £877k on the screen, just £1m)

And there's no way it'll be £1m cash up front, we were haggling over all sorts of add ons and bonuses, just like we didn't sign Madine for £800k cash but a figure rising to that based on promotions, him scoring lots of goals etc. We'll only ever be paying out something near that if we're in the Prem, then it'll be money well spent

That's what i thought. i think the 1m is altogether with add ons with the initial fee of 750,000 - 800,000

I heard we are paying 800K + 10p for every extra pie we sell this season.
