Guest Buxtonian
We keep asking where are the 'missing supporters'. Anyone been following the Ashes series will have been unable to miss one banner in the Barmy Army - a St George's Cross adorned with the words Marple Blades and the letters SUFC. Have our neighbours decided to follow a winning side for once, and how many of our Wednesdayites have been down under? Incidentally, what about the performance by our Cricketers, Eh? To not only beat the Baggy Caps in their own back yard, but to do so in style! Perhaps an omenfor the New Year? Come on, Wednesday, Strauss's lads have shown the way. Try to follow suit. Nick the Owl
On wednesday there were at least 6 of Owls fans at the SCG wearing the colours, and a Bradway Owls flag, but today alas only two pigs and that Marple blades flag could be seen along with the Bradway Owls flag so there are at least some of us here!
