At least we shouldnt be giving them away this time. As Malek has previously pointed out, there is a good chance to rebuild a decent side from frees this summer, all budget dependant though I suppose. With lots of players out of contract we have a big summer whatever division were in. Perhaps some of our youngsters may step forward in the div below? Last time around Turner waited until a large number of players were coming to the end of their contracts and actively scouted and sought out replacements well in advance. I'd be very surprised if we've been as proactive this time. I might be wrong, but wasn't our scout one of the backroom staff who left with Laws and wasn't the money saved by the club used to bring Varney back. That's certainly looking a great decision.
