Left side issues

Recommended Posts

It was clear how much of an issue this is last night. We looked so open down the left the whole game. Pedersen clearly enjoyed getting forward, less so getting back 🤣. They had 2 1v1s in there and a few other chances they didn't exploit. As others have said I would play Palmer in there (assuming no Johnson) and be more cautious and allow Valentin to bomb forward on the right.

Wasn’t just the left side….1st half Norwich had so much time and space on our right side. Musaba’s positioning first half was awful, time and again he would be caught out too high up or coming inside leaving Dom in a 2v1 situation. Definitely a game plan from Norwich to exploit Musaba’s lack of defensive ability. Sorted second half with Pol coming on and the shift to 3 CB’s

Wasn’t just either side, the whole midfield was wide open at times..
