Millwall: pubs & trains

Recommended Posts

What pubs at London Bridge are Wednesday fans gravitating towards on Saturday?

And is the best way to get to The Den from London Bridge via an overground train to South Bermondsey?

Then, is there a walkway from the station to the ground that’s exclusively for away fans?

It’s our first trip to Millwall so advice from seasoned campaigners will be welcome. Cheers.

Yes it's only a short train journey from London Bridge (multiple services, look on the departure board to see which trains actually stop at South Bermondsey) and there's a walkway from there to the away end so you don't encounter the local wildlife. Far easier than trying to get there by tube.

Loads of Wednesday fans drink around London Bridge/Borough Market but it's London so you can suit yourself and then easily still get to London Bridge station.

As above, London Bridge to South Bermondsey is the easiest way of getting to the ground

If you’re drinking in London Bridge then there’s plenty to choose from… Barrowboy & Banker (gets full fairly early), Bunch of Grapes, Old King’s Head, the George & Old Thameside Inn
